Trip Description
Day 1: Drive from Entebbe/ Kampala to Murchison falls NP for visit at the top of the falls.
- Top of the Murchison falls visit: Your driver guide will be at the agreed pick up location at 8 am to brief you about the safari ahead of you. You will then set off for your drive to Murchison falls National park also known as Uganda’s largest national park. The drive is 4 hours so you will have an enroute lunch in Masindi and connect to the viewing point of the top of the falls inside the park. Spend some time and further connect to your hotel to check-in for dinner and a night stay. Hotel options for the night in Murchison are Twiga lodge for budget, Pakuba safari lodge for midrange and Para safari lodge for luxury.
Day 2: Full day in Murchison falls National Park
- Morning game drive and afternoon launch cruise on the Nile
- Morning Game Drive: After the tasty breakfast at your hotel, meet your driver-guide to set out to the park for an up to 5-hour game drive in the Murchison falls national park. Get to view the game of the park like the elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, lions, the Rothschild giraffes, Uganda kobs, Impalas, Hartebeest to mention but a few. Connect back to your hotel for lunch.
- Boat Cruise: After lunch and the sun cooling down, you will drive to the Nile for the afternoon launch cruise where you get to view the falls from the bottom this time. Day 3: Zziwa rhino visit and drive back to Entebbe/ Kampala to Murchison falls NP
- Rhino trek at Zziwa Rhino sanctuary: After an early breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your driver-guide to transfer you back to Entebbe with an enroute Zziwa rhino sanctuary visit for rhino trekking experience that lasts about 2 to 3 hours.
