Day 1: City tour and Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest

  • City tour and Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest: On day one of your 2 days gorilla trekking in Uganda from Rwanda at a location of your choice in Kigali city or Kigali international airport, you will be met by your guide a representative of our tour company who will welcome you to Rwanda the land of 100 hills and also get to participate in a briefing session where you will get to know the different activities you are going to participate in for a memorable safari in both the countries. After a briefing session in you will embark on your 2 days gorilla trekking Uganda from Kigali where you will have the opportunity to participate in a Kigali city tour which will give you the opportunity to visit the Rwanda genocide memorial museum, Kimironko market, the presidential palace among other rewarding sites. At the end of your Kigali city tour, you will have lunch and later on transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park the home to the habituated Uganda gorilla families through Katuna border. You will arrive at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay as you await the next day’s activities.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking & Departure

  • Gorilla trekking: On day two of your 2 days gorilla trekking safari in Uganda, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the park headquarters where you will present your gorilla trekking permit in order to participate in the activity. You will have a briefing session of the rules and regulations to follow during the activity like limiting noise during the presence of the gorillas, avoiding eye contact with the primates among other rules and regulations to follow. After the briefing session you will make your way to the park to locate the habituated gorilla family which you will spend an hour understanding their behaviour in the wild like their feeding patterns, how they co-exist with one another, how they settle conflicts amongst each other and other interesting features of the primates.
