Detailed Itinerary for 4 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari.
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, you will be met by our company representative from Explore Rwanda Tours and briefed about your tour. The guide will drive you to your hotel in Arusha where you will check in and have your dinner.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Have breakfast early in the morning and begin your journey to Tarangire national park which is approximately a 1-2-hour drive from Arusha. Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant populations and abundance of massive baobab trees.
These trees may live for hundreds of years and serve as a supply of water for elephants during the dry season, thanks to a unique technology for drawing water from them. Furthermore, the Tarangire River is the only source of water during the dry season, thus you may observe herds of up to 250 elephants with many other wildlife animals such as hartebeests, wildebeest, gazelles, lions, zebras and leopards among others.

Day 3: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area- Crater Game Drive (About 3 hours’ drive)
After having your breakfast, you will meet your driver guide and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area which is about a 3 hours’ drive from Tarangire national park. The renowned Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s seven natural wonders. The crater was created two million years ago when a massive volcano erupted. The fertile lava has formed a unique environment that currently supports the largest population of species seen any place in Africa! Once within the crater, hundreds of animals like as lions, zebras, buffalos, wildebeests and black rhinos surround you, and the sights are breathtaking – you won’t know where to look!

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Airport drop-off.
Have your breakfast and enjoy one last game drive in the crater area before you exit the park and proceed driving to the airport or your hotel in Arusha where your driver guide will drop you off as you will advise.
