This effort came due to the   demanding pressure for Rhino horn among the populations throughout Africa. This initiative aims to extend white Rhino range and create a secure new breeding stronghold in Rwanda, supporting population growth to ensure the long-term survival of the species and showcasing the importance and value of conservation and ensuring wildlife and people coexist and thrive. The translocation also aimed to enhance Akagera contribution of Rwanda’s wildlife economy, ensuring that the conservation of their outstanding natural landscape generates long-termed benefits for the local communities and all Rwandans
